Fine Art Nude Photography Workshop in Havana
December 4 to 9, 2025
Model Ratio 1:1
Limited to 6 photographers
“I'm going through my images in preparation for my book Human Landscapes—I have a publisher, a distributor, and the images I need to create a beautiful book—thanks largely to you.” —Philip Miller, Los Gatos, Calif.
Cuba is not only an exotic destination it also offers one-of-a-kind settings for nude photography. The diverse backdrops in Cuba, including neoclassic and art deco homes, as well as within crumbling concrete structures, create a rich visual background that enhances the overall artistic experience.
The Havana Nude workshop is for those who would like to share time and ideas with a small group of like-minded photographers, with personal guidance given to photographers who have not previously worked with models.
Co-instructed by Steve Anchell and internationally-exhibited Cuban photographer, Alberto Arcos, the workshop includes six three-hour photography sessions, and a half-day to explore on the last day. Sessions will take place in homes, artists studios, abandoned buildings, and other locations in and around Havana.
By limiting this workshop to six participants with at least six models, each photographer will be able to spend more time working one-on-one with models. It will also be possible to use locations not accessible to larger groups. Emphasis will be placed on developing and refining personal style and vision.
While you don’t need experience photographing the nude, photographers who have not previously attended a workshop with Steve must obtain permission to participate. If you are not certain if you qualify, please contact Steve, +1 503.884.3882 or email info@anchellworkshops.com.
All camera formats are welcome, including large-format. Digital, film, color, or black & white.
Each participant or couple will have a private room and bath in a privately owned hotel.
