Northern New Mexico is an enchanted land famed for its beauty and artistic inspiration. During the New Mexico Photography Workshop you will discover the splendor of both remote and populous regions, from the adobe magnificence of Santa Fe and Taos, to the ancient pueblos of the Anasazi First People, the Rio Grande Gorge, soaring limestone cliffs, and endless cloud strewn skies found nowhere else.
We will spend three days in the Santa Fe area visiting the Pecos National Historic Park and Bandelier National Monument, one day in Abiquiu photographing in and around Ghost Ranch where the renowned painter, Georgia O'Keefe did much of her work; and two days in the area of Taos, photographing the Rio Grande Gorge with fabulous sunrises and sunsets.
The New Mexico Photography Workshop is limited to ten participants, including companions, which will allow one-on-one sessions with Steve as well as daily critique sessions. We will travel in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle, to sites that will inspire and delight, with free time to explore the wonders of Santa Fe and Taos on your own.
We will conclude the workshop by taking the High Road from Taos through Chimayo to visit the renowned Santuario de Chimayo and have lunch at the famed Rancho de Chimayo restaurant, before returning to Albuquerque.
“Several of the photographs that I produced during the New Mexico Workshop have been exhibited at galleries around the Northeast, and are also included in the interior decoration of a major retail store in Philadelphia.” Sarah Natow, Long Island, New York
